I put mine in when they "opened" it. (Oct. 2010). But I didn't use any of my "connections" to push it. So Oct. 2010 until Aug. 2011. I heard they are big on recommendations, and I possibly could have a lot, but sitting on the fence, so not asking anyone (yet).

I saw three resumes two weeks ago on the 'table'. One Skywest, one corporate and one former Cathay Pacific FO. It definitely looks like they are picking experience from across the board. None of them had an Airbus type rating. All three had between 5,000 and 7,000 hours.

As far as I know you dont have to resign a seniority number. We have a number of folks furloughed from other carriers here. Some have left us to go back. Some wont go back, some are taking bypass untill they can hold better lines. None of them had to resign seniority to get a job here. Don't know if this policy is still in place for new hires though.
