i have talked to a couple of aa'ers that have come over here to UPS. The common demonitator is that greedy senior guys are soaking up a ton of open time. Talk about NOT remembering where you came from!

Yeah, and if ExpressJet bought AMR Eagle right now and stapled YOU to the bottom of their entire seniority list, you'd be an F/O for life in a regional jet.

But that would be okay, right? Because you always had the choice to leave Eagle and go to UPS/FedEx/SWA...;)

Another issue is that according to the contract, they can defer for a long time; something like 3 years after all the recalls have taken place (don't quote me on this). This will probably happen with guys who don't want to commute and can't live at that base. Another issue is instructors. We have to call back instructors to train these guys for the planes and that take time in itself. This thing is going to take forever.

I disagree, because whether 10 or 20 or 30 a month, next year they're only going to be recalling pilots who flowed-back to Eagle (or who were offered it and turned it down). So, all Eagle RJ Captain flow-backs MUST return to AA when recalled, without exception, unless they give up their seniority number. Since 120-170 will be recalled next year, expect almost ALL to accept recall.

(Have the Illini won any games this year?)

When you say they will be recalling only Eagle flowbacks, that is not really how it will happen. Not all of the pilots in the last two groups to be furloughed flowed to eagle. A number went overseas and to UPS and FEDEX among others. Also, a few of the flowbacks quit eagle for better jobs.

We suck. I admit this is so true but it is "The Zook Era" now and well we still suck. Also, I'l just repeating what was said in an AA meeting today. Also, I think Frank300 is more correct then you are.

Cheers

The illini have always sucked. With the exception of basketball last year, them and northwestern are only in the big ten to keep up the gpa.

"them and northwestern..." Where did you get your G.E.D.? I remember a Sugar Bowl a couple of years ago. And furthermore, last year was a good year for us in basketball while two years again was an amazing year. We have been and will always be a basketball school.

Well,

The Big 10 isn't exactly an easy conference to play in, either. Give Zook a chance.
