The DAL/NWA labor isn't completely done yet. There are still a few holdouts that won't say "all y'all" yet and they say they are "planning" on doing something rather than "fixin" to do something. Once we get 100% compliance then it will be done.

Before you come off with "had a seniority number for ten years at AA" to build your credibility....start with your "truth". You have been there for one year. I don't have a problem with my comprehension, I just know how to get someone to spill the beans if you will. That might be hard for you to understand since you didn't get the "service pin" metaphor either.

Kinda to do with this (not really), but I saw a FNWA captain last week that still had NW epaulets, a long sleeved pilot shirt without a tie or jacket. No hat, wings or name tags. Topped it off with an Adidas duffel bag.

Looked quite sharp.

This, what Satpak has written, is really the only thing that Delta would want or need. Latin America and Miami.

Why would Delta, or anyone that was looking to fill weak spots in there network, buy American when the pieces they covet are worth more than the whole?

Like Pan Am, Braniff, and Eastern did before, the parts that were worth anything were monetized. That is a a likely outcome for American's fate as well. American does not offer any route authority over the Atlantic, Africa or the Pacific that Delta does not already do or have access through AF/KLM.

Market share is the only thing they have now which will flow elsewhere in their absence. Why pay for that or acquire their debt and labor issues to gain that?

And yes tomahawk AMR management failed American. Just like Leo/Burns, Tilton, Siegel did to the "storied" companies they were entrusted to manage,
