The DAL/NWA labor isn't completely done yet. There are still a few holdouts that won't say "all y'all" yet and they say they are "planning" on doing something rather than "fixin" to do something. Once we get 100% compliance then it will be done.

My response was #201 where I say "AA" as the first word.
Apparently you know little of the AA flow through from Eagle, because there is another option...........the truth. Several hundred of us completed our "CJ captain" training and were awared not only AA seniority numbers, but actual classes to attend. Then we were withheld from those classes to serve a 24 month lock-in so Eagle could recoup their training expenses (street hires were given our actual spots in those specific classes). Then 9/11 happened before we could complete our lock-in's and then 10 years (actually over 11 for me) passed before we flowed through from summer 2010 through summer 2011. Been wearing my AA uniform for a year now and haven't sued anyone for it. Never said anything about any "pins", so not sure where you dug that up.
Perhaps my choice of words speaks volumes, but your comprehension abilities have led you in the wrong direction and it seems you've let yourself slip off the deep end.........dry off a bit and relax. If you believe me to be a liar (which certainly sounds the case), that's your choice.

No worries man, I got what I wanted, you took it hook, line and sinker. Now we have the "truth".
Before you come off with "had a seniority number for ten years at AA" to build your credibility....start with your "truth". You have been there for one year. I don't have a problem with my comprehension, I just know how to get someone to spill the beans if you will. That might be hard for you to understand since you didn't get the "service pin" metaphor either.

Kinda to do with this (not really), but I saw a FNWA captain last week that still had NW epaulets, a long sleeved pilot shirt without a tie or jacket. No hat, wings or name tags. Topped it off with an Adidas duffel bag.
Looked quite sharp.

Why would Delta, or anyone that was looking to fill weak spots in there network, buy American when the pieces they covet are worth more than the whole?
Like Pan Am, Braniff, and Eastern did before, the parts that were worth anything were monetized. That is a a likely outcome for American's fate as well. American does not offer any route authority over the Atlantic, Africa or the Pacific that Delta does not already do or have access through AF/KLM.
Market share is the only thing they have now which will flow elsewhere in their absence. Why pay for that or acquire their debt and labor issues to gain that?
And yes tomahawk AMR management failed American. Just like Leo/Burns, Tilton, Siegel did to the "storied" companies they were entrusted to manage,
