It's sad what Mexico has become. When I worked at Continental Express we went all over Mexico. It was nice to overnight in Leon, Oaxaca, Torreon, Nuevo, etc. You could enjoy authentic Mexican food and beer at cheap prices, with little fear of danger. Heck, even in 2008 I could head to the non tourist area of Cancun for good food. You could take the bus from the hotel strip downtown for 50 cents. But that ended once the drug cartels started tossing maltov cocktails into local nightclubs and bars, just before they'd barricade the doors shut. It's sad..........
