Just last week I was called "The enemy" by a SWA captain while I was riding his jumpseat. Nice. Are you willing to move forward and make things better for all or do you want to roll around in the bitterness of the past.

It has been written on here many times that AT guys need to show up, ready to work with a smile on our face. I think you need to ask yourself whether or not you are willing to the same when a former AT pilot shows up to fly with you. If you are not professional enough to curb your attitude maybe YOU should be the one to seek employment elsewhere...

C9,

While I could see how you may have thought I was strictly referring to the f/AT folks when I mentioned those who felt slighted, I actually meant everybody. We have are own (original) pilots who take every opportunity to complain about the cards they were dealt. This whole SLI has been one where the whining isn't exclusive to a particular pilot group.

WRT the CA who dissed you I apologize. If you will PM me with his/her name or the flight and date I will follow up for you. I am not looking to go on a witch hunt but he needs to know that that was unacceptable. I have said in the past that I will personally not tolerate any employee treating another as you said you were. As 1 seat mentioned we have professional standards personnel to handle this kind of situation.

I personally am looking forward to working with every f/AT pilot and will treat them how I would want to be treated. Probably even the WM, because it certainly is funny how brave and bold some are on an anonymous forum. I have even seen the strange phenomenon of an FO who seemingly gets along with everyone and then becomes an AH when he upgrades. A power trip by a glorified bus driver, I guess.

Oscar,

Got it. I guess I am just spring loaded to those kind of comments directed towards AT folks. I too apologize for lumping you in with the haters.

I'm sending you a PM...
