Just received an e-mail from US Airways with an application invitation. I quickly filled out the application and now have an additional profile on the website. When I click on the 153### profile it shows the application invitation. Anyone else get this yet? Any clues or insight? I completed the application within minutes of receiving the email. Hope it is still a good sign of things to come.

I'm not so sure. Here's something to consider from the MOU:

j. US Airways will not hire new pilots if pilots at New American Airlines are on furlough unless the most junior US Airways pilot has been offered recall or another position with US Airways and all New American Airlines pilots on furlough have been offered a position at US Airways.
Effective when the most junior US Airways pilot has been offered recall or another position with US Airways, future positions at US Airways will be offered to furloughed New American Airlines in seniority order. A furloughed New American Airlines pilot who declines a position as an US Airways pilot retains the right to be offered a position in a future US Airways new-hire class and also retains the right to be recalled to New American Airlines in accordance with his/her American Airlines seniority.

Is this a different email from the "we made a mistake, please fill out an application and resume to be reviewed in the next few weeks"?

Yes. It has a new requisition number in the profile. Email just came today

Is this email going out to the apps that got rejected, then labeled "keeping warm"?

Not sure who it is targeting. I did not get the "keep warm"

I just got that email. Never had keep warm or view directions...

Funny thing is, I got two emails, two links, must mean I've for twice as good a chance to get hired!! Hahahaha!!
