Thats what I'm trying to figure out. Whats the point in filling out five apps. They either want you or they dont. But, I mean I'm still going to fill them out. It just seems crazy.

Third hand info:

A little birdie says the bid is done and will be published tonight or tomorrow.

The bottom CLT AB capt. is 2400+(around 4/88). Bottom E190 capt is a 2/2012 hire.

Correct. Most junior 190 captain from my class 2/12. More importantly, there will be 300+ buffer beneath me by the end of the year.

It's funny upgrade time at the regionals 6 years.

Upgrade time at the legacies about 1.5 years.

How is that gonna work for that guy? Is he stuck on it until he can transition to captain on another a/c? The pay is only 15 more than the AB, he might be on reserve for a while.

He'll be on reserve for quite a while for sure. He's seat-locked for two years, but can always down-bid back to FO on another aircraft if he wants. I ran the numbers for myself and a block-holding airbus FO makes slightly more than a reserve 190 captain. I guess it depends what you want.

For the guys that just had their interview what's the time frame to hear something. My buddy when almost 3 weeks ago and still nothing, when I did mine last year it was 9 days for a yes. It seems to be different for every case.

It's been taking about 5 weeks. Some longer. Some shorter.
