Hi Deep North. The Conversion Agreement Section III.e.2&3 (link Conversion between U.S. and Canadian Pilot Licences - Transport Canada) simply states that having completed either the 61.57(d) or TC IPC will satisfy both the FAA and TC. You could also submit your last 6month ride with your 121 carrier, but easier to have your sim instructor simply sign you off with an 61.57(d) endorsement. Scanthat endorsement and call the Toronto office 416-952-0215 and let them know what your intention is, you will pay $30 and get a receipt number. Email [email protected] a scanned copy of your endorsement and include the receipt number as reference. A couple weeks later you will receive a sticker in the mail showing your updated licence to put in your Aviation Document Booklet. The lapse might create additional paperwork, but the fact is you have been maintaining currency, just have not recorded it with TC most likely. Read the agreement, call the Toronto office, and PM me with any questions.
