Today is the 11th anniversary of that horrific tragedy. Please take a moment to remember all the victims and their families.

I had occasion to meet the widow of one of the victims on the ground and her story is harrowing. Honestly, I don't know how one recovers from a devastating event like that.

Interesting you mention that. While watching interviews and reading articles with Belle Harbor residents---some are starting to think they are cursed. The widow I mentioned whose husband was killed and house was destroyed 11 years ago stayed in the area. Now with the damage she's suffered she is moving away.....
