Nice interview, but we all know the problem, everyone knows the solution, but the bureaucratic machine is hungry therefore it'll never get fix. ($$$)

It is frustrating to see how political correct these guys try to be.

And Rehm should have had Airline executives as well, that would've been more entertaining.

All this money ALPA and the Regional Union collect, should have some redirected towards national media, FOX, CNN etc to explain the real problem. My neighbor doesn’t get the ALPA magazine, doesn’t listen to NPR and or Cspan. Like him there are millions that still think pilots are overpaid.

I hope it gets the attetion it deserves. For our careers, our families and ourselves.

Capt. Moak did a good job. I'd say we got our money's worth more than the RAA (ahem A4A).

Since regionals are an entry level position, pay is inline with the experience level of most regional pilots.

What happens when entry level pilots are flying A320s(or whatever aircraft you are currently flying)?

Our scope will never allow outsourced jets that large. No worries from me.

Entry level, like Comair? Do you have any idea how many people have spent over 5 years at "entry level" pay?

No, but when XYZ low cost carrier is flying the same aircraft as you for half the pay with entry level pilots then it will have an affect.

No it won't. First of all, we don't fly anything that small and most importantly, LCCs are not in our peer group of airlines.

Doesn't stop the fact that Comair and all regionals are entry level jobs.
