This is a quote from A Delta pilot.
"As a retired Delta pilot i was incensed with Anderson's opener in the old safety video. He said C.E. Woolman built Delta on the principles of honesty, integrity, and mutual respect. He is so correct. Richard Anderson doesn't even deserve being mentioned in the same sentence with CE Woolman much less being allowed to sit at his desk."
George and John I know who they are. I was hired right after they sold ASA to Delta. You know where you stood with George and John. Back then ASA was just a stepping stone job.
Ron Allen, The CEO who started the demise of Delta Airlines.
Leo Mullin, The man who robbed Delta Airlines of Millions of dollars. The man who Fired about 25,000 employees world wide. The man who took Delta Airlines to the gutter.

Oh, and it's Delta Air Lines. 3 words. I wholeheartedly agree about Ron and Leo.

I've never been a fan of this statement. There was a similar comparison made with regard to pilot hiring at Virgin America awhile back. The vast majority of Harvard applicants are already the cream of the crop. What would Harvard's admission percentage be if every college bound senior applied?
Anyway, it doesn't change the point, of course. It's crazy competitive to become an FA at Delta. I just think this particular comparison is misleading.

Winner!

Says ASA, in its blog post. At the moment, the response for the new brand from some of its employees seem to be deeply disappointing. But let’s see how it goes.. After all, they don’t paint their name on their planes. - See more at: ASA and ExpressJet becomes SureJet - The Networker

So I think your right about it being extremely competitive. For the others that are worried it is a bad place to work...Well that's easy, this is America so your free to head on over to Home Depot or Wal-Mart whichever is closer to your crib.

I think you were close on your first post. I remember reading we had some 50,000 applicants for those jobs. How many you think most employers get when they announce hiring?
