Interviewed mid january waiting on the February 4 DB. ACP, and two SWA references called. However, not on the interview list for December/January. Have a type and this is the second interview. Getting nervous that m name is not on the list of interviewees... Hoping for the best.

Fwiw, the batch of new-hires that just showed up on the newest vacancy award (March), all got West Coast bases.

What is the list of interviewees you're referring to?

There is a list of interviewees that goes out to the pilot bases prior to the interviews. However, the last went out the day I got an email for an interview. So that's good news I think. It wasn't updated since early to mid December. Crisis averted for now.

Does this mean that it's possible to get Vegas or PHX right out of training? Or did those new hires go to OAK for a few months before getting Vegas or PHX?

Some got LAS and PHX. There's a new vacancy bid every month to absorb all of the new hires and transition classes. Unless there's a substantial increase at one of the east coast bases I'd plan on starting at one of those three out the gate. The transition guys will be able to get a base further east, all based on their seniority and vacancies on the bid.

I got a question. My interview group and a friend of mine interviewed on Dec 2 and 3 respectively. We got called and we are hired, but none of us have a class date yet. There are rumors of a Feb 26 class, that's what People told one of the new hires when they called to get some additional info from him.

So wondering how did you get a Mar 5 training commitment when you interviewed two weeks after us and 8 of us have not heard anything??

I don't know, all I was told in an email was I should be in the March 5th class. Maybe you will be in that class aswell.

Have you done your drug test yet? I did mine on Jan 14th.
Maybe it's a paperwork delay.

Drug test, background checks and calls all within 2 weeks of the interview. You're hired call on Jan 8. Then nothing. None of us have heard anything. This week is 30 days until the possible Feb 26 class so hope we hear something.
