Flight instructing, 121 flying SF-340 and 145's. Spin it however you would like, 2000 hours in any airplane is not much time. How many thunderstorms, wind shear, holding, diverting, emergencies, medical emergencies etc has one encountered in 2000 hours?? Not many.

This.

Congrats Tunes. Did you have a lot of internal LORs?

Seeing a mil applicant with your hours/background getting hired is even more motivation to leave the cesspool that is active duty AF.

Seriously? I'm not even a fighter guy but I can tell you 2000 hours in a fighter type is very different than the 2000 I had in the C17 and brings a very different experience to the company. Guys need to stop getting wrapped around hours.

Fighter types bomb, strafe, fire air-air missiles. Not relevant to 121 flying in my humble opinion.
