I heard an unconfirmed rumor online that was someone was identified by a new employer, who then reviewed their pre-employment posting history and found it not indicative of the kind of person they wanted to employ. Again rumor only, but thought I'd post the disclaimer.

If you think about it, if you post where you got hired + flight experience they can ID you instantly, if so inclined.

Holy smokes! I thumbed back through this and there's an incredible amount of info that pilots self disclosed on a completely public forum. Easily trackable, Especially pilots who got hired at small companies. Why would people do this?

I vote this whole thing gets deleted. Be smart out there people. Everything you've ever posted on the internet is available and searchable in this day and age.

If you actually were helpful to others wouldn't you hope they look your posts up?

Yep. Unfortunately that's not the case with many here. If I read their posts I wouldn't hire them either.
