The two members are holdovers from C2012, and the new Chairman is the current Merger Committee Chairman and prior Contract Administration Committee Chairman.

A committee comprised of tons of experience. May the force be with them.
Agreed. It looks to have some diversity in talents and is not a group that you would expect to cower to the machine, or management.

I would have love to seen one SLC's reps face where the tenth hand went up for HK.

Even though two of the three did before?

I don't think DALPA is in any danger of being called "militant".

Our negotiating stance has been pretty consistent over the last few years.

Thats cute. But in all honesty, my opinion only, HK is a very nice man, cordial, team player, diplomatic and knowledgable. I am not 100% convinced he is again ready to be a negotiator.

PS. There are pilots on our list who have completed negotiation courses and school work at USC that are trained to handle these types of negotiating matters. We should branch out and seek their advice but It seems like the same people are always recycled into these DALPA positions.

Did any of them indicate their willingness to serve?

How? And if they did, do you really think they can join the club? Somehow I think it is close to impossible.

I agree that, as with any high-ranking position, you need a body of work to be placed there. That said, I understand there to be a lot of new faces on the MEC and in various positions. I would certainly encourage these folks of whom you speak to indicate their interest and backgrounds to their reps.

ALPA says they're always looking for more help. Call them on it.

Is that what DALPA is relying on now? "The force?"

Sure, why not. Nothing else has worked.

In related news, police were called to the Delta union buster's residence for a noise complaint today. He was laughing hysterically. Naked hookers were cavorting about. Blow was everywhere, along with several rolled up C-notes. There were two goats and a sheep. RA was twerking with Miley Cyrus, and SD was slapping a gimp-suited midget on the ass. I wonder what they were celebrating?

Let the expectation management begin....

It was a saying, an adage, a maxim, e.g., best of luck, godspeed, go get 'em, etc. You've heard of those, I presume?
