The Cathay pilots don't have a union, so I doubt they'll get their jobs back. This isn't the first time for that group either... Remember the "49 ers" who supposedly lost their job for organizing a union? FYI, it wasn't for the union drive, it was for trying to stop the Cathay crews from doing their chem work.. CX management likes the subsidy that chem seeding provided. I imagine other airlines like their cut and won't keep too many guys on board who aren't fully "on board".

This thread has already gone on way too long, I hope you guys are masking your IP addresses.

It's this new generation and their entitlement mentality. Remember the days where you had to get the books out, calculate various mixtures and nozzle delivery settings, then precisely set the valves by hand? Now these kids just dump whatever's on the release into the box, press the Auto Spray button, and go back to listening to Katy Perry or whatever garbage s **t that's playing through their hipster-ass Apple device.

Sickening.

You know what I'm sick of? The Captains that refuse to let me be the designated dispenser!!!! Our manual states that the non-flying pilot is to program the CDU dispensing computer for that leg. But before I get a chance to do it, the CA always plugs HIS employee number into the ACARS to activate the CDU, ensuring that HE's the one getting paid the tax free bonus for it, and not me!!! Come on guys, let your poor, broke FO's make some cash, and quit being so d@mned greedy! Some times, while he's sleeping en-route, I quietly re-program it with MY employee number, and spray away! hehe... Can't wait for those old gummers to get out of my seat, so I can finally make some spray-dough!

How much override are you guys getting on one 3 hour flight for spraying the chem-packs? What is industry average on this?

30% base pay (minus Per Diem), tax free.
Oh yeah, and ALPA takes a cut of that too.

Don't forget, Dow Chemical gives us a nice Tupperware set once you've distributed 25 tons of aluminum boron. And SC Johnson gives us a nice gift certificate for 10 tons of sulfur dioxide distributed. I have yet to get Monsanto's case of Roundup incentive, and I'm not sure how much glyphosate you have to dispense to get it.

I can't believe you guys...

The first rule about chem trails. You don't talk about the chem trails.

Second rule about chem trails... YOU DONT TALK ABOUT THE CHEM TRAILS!

The normies could find out the truth.

The 727's were pretty good, but nothing like the old DC-8's. It was dirty spray back then, but really effective. I remember they used to call it "smog" the next morning on the news. I was at L.A. Center and I remember Upsco always launching a couple sprayers every night out of ONT, one laying down from LAX up to Bakersfield, and another LAX down to SAN. Left, right, left, right, all night long. Kept us ATC awake, anyway. Good times.

THIS! ^^^^^

You guys had better S. T. F. Up or you are ALL going to jail!

BTW, stay out of the Emirates next week, I'll be spraying them again...

You heard about the MERS Camel virus? You're welcome!

Guys--we need to take this private. You all remember the last guy who spoke openly about this.

Yes, Tim Martins lost his airline job, his fire fighting job and his F-16 job. You'll also remember that they completely wiped his military record and his firemans record leaving him looking like a liar with no character.

BLUF: If you continue to speak openly about your chem trailing efforts, you could end up like Tim Martins and lose everything.
