It amazes me how many coach passengers think they're entitled to the same perks as first class passengers. These first class passengers are paying for (or have otherwise been granted) these perks. Life isn't fair, you want it.. you're going to have to pay for it. And if you didn't it, deal with it.

The way Alaska words this during their announcement is that it's ok to use the front lav, but that no line may form, so unless someone is in there or someone gets up in front of you or in 1st, it's plenty fine to use it.

If you're waiting to use the 1st class lav, you're supposed to wait at the divider (at row 6)...no congregating in the forward galley.
So, if the coach pax are at Row 6, she should have been able to jump up and make her move as soon as the "in use" light went out.
