And that retired FA blogger idiot that tells people to tell the FA's to tell the pilots to "turn the other pack on" because packs relate to pressurization and pressurization relates to hypoxia and hypoxia degrades your vision. Yes, this moron told people that we fly around with some packs off (to save the company money, obviously) which, of course, damages people's vision, but don't worry the pilots have their own oxygen, but we need to tell them to turn the other pack on so you get yours too.

Where's Scary Mary when we need her the most?

One night an elderly pax asked a F/A to "tell the Captain he needs to raise the cabin pressure." I sent back word that we had carefully checked and everything was normal.
When we arrived at the gate, the pax glared at me and snarled: "TWA always fixes the cabin pressure for me!"

My first post here. The flying mag writer must need cash to redesign his Melmouth. For an engineer who happens to fly to criticize us is about as ridiculous as an airline pilot to write an op ed about how poor are his designs. Apparently, according to his own writings, it's pretty poor.

If we want to be treated and paid like we're something special why are we trying so hard to look like everyone else in the airport?

Only Airline that still requires them is Delta.
