Default Southwest Intl Jumpseating for OAL

Yes, I am sure this has been asked before, and apparently the search function is not my friend tonight because I did try that first...even directly through google and not just the APC forums search.

Anyway, I am an OAL pilot hoping to get a ride to Cabo (SJD) from stateside (and back). I can't seem to find confirmation that it is an option that is still available. I know last year there was a JS embargo on international operations, but can't find a current policy now. Is the procedure the same as domestic rides? Any details that are important? I JS on SWA domestically frequently, but forgot to ask the agent last time...

And yes for the trollolols out there I do ask my JS committee for help and they hardly ever have a good answer, so any help/advice would be highly appreciated. Before you say it, I do volunteer in my Union to try and make it better myself, just help me with the Jumpseat info...

Default Southwest Intl Jumpseating for OAL

From the SWAPA guide:
OAL Pilots using SWA international jumpseat:
Authorized OAL Pilots and Dispatchers who have a jumpseat agreement in place with Southwest Airlines may exercise their jumpseat privileges on Southwest Airlines flights in the CABIN ONLY.

OAL Jumpseaters should request an “FAR 121 Jumpseat listing for OA” in advance by calling 866-FLY-SWNR (866-359-7967). Jumpseaters may be asked to provide passport data and/or emergency contact information at the time of listing.
• Suggested Verbiage: “Hello this is ___________. I am a pilot with __________ Airlines, Employee Number _____, and would like
to request an FAR 121 Jumpseat listing on Flight ________ from ____ to _____, on _(date)_.
Note: If an OAL Jumpseater does not obtain a PNR prior to attempting to list for the jumpseat, their request will most likely be denied.

Just get to the airport way ahead of time to give yourself and the agents enough time to figure out any potential hiccups that might arise.

Unlike a lot of the legacy's crabby agents, SWA ones are usually very friendly and helpful. I'm sure they'll try their damnedest for you, but keep in mind that the international JS thing is new for them.

Hey guys, bumping this thread again...

I JS domestic all the time on SWA and it's great. So anyway, I called the number as usual and they said they couldn't do it, then transferred me to an "international desk" and they said they can't make the PNR's over the phone for INTL OAL non-rev/jumpseat yet.

So I'm a little stuck with what to do. I work at Omni Air so we don't have access to any online options like myid90.com to list ourselves.

Can anyone help me out or make a recommendation? I bought my wife a ticket on the flights so it may get a little messed up if I can't at least try and get on.

Is there anyway someone could PM me the contact info for SWAPA jumpseat committee? Or maybe you guys know another way I can try? I'm going to ask at the ticket counter today as well.

Thanks for the help guys.
