They will serve you a big glass of kool aid all the way through OE until you get that prebuilt reserve schedule with only 12 days off for the total month and 2 days of in between the 3 sets of 5 work days.
The reality is it's a great place to work because of the people you work with daily. Most trips are not that bad and most hotels are pretty decent. The morale bounces along and tends to dip low when unwanted news comes down from the top. ie. We're waiting on our profit sharing % and word is we took an "unexpected" $40 million dollar training hit that some think will be deducted from our %.
As for being public, well, the majority of stock is still carried by the same people that carried VX when it was privately held and as long as they're making loot they'll keep it stagnant.
Just my .02.
The reality is it's a great place to work because of the people you work with daily. Most trips are not that bad and most hotels are pretty decent. The morale bounces along and tends to dip low when unwanted news comes down from the top. ie.
