All due respect A320, I think the V man would rather be a male prostitute than to work for VA. SRB is attempting to cheapen our profession even more while he laughs all the way to the bank. SRB doesn't care about Pilots or workers. If he did, he'd stop flashing those pearly whites and pay up more cash. While I'd have a hard time denying someone the jump seat, I hope it never comes that. With those pro athlete wages he's paying, I'm sure his pilots can afford to live in Downtown San Fran and won't have a need to jump seat.

Here's the deal.....most folks here view Virgin America as a blight on the industry. Not because they are afraid to compete on a level playing field, but because they view Virgin, JetBlue, et.al. as threat to the profession. This is because the pilots who work for those companies work for wages and conditions that degradate the wages and conditions others have worked so hard to achieve. See it is called spiral down or race to the bottom and most here don’t like seeing their lifestyle destroyed or threatened. So you see since you would be considered somewhat of a pariah here it is not wise to come here and ask the rest of us to support you helping to drag down the profession by signing the petition. Frankly I’m surprised posts have been as civil as they have.

Since you seem to be new here judging by the number of posts you have posted, I think it would be beneficial for you to read for a while to get the lay of the land before you open yourself up again.

With all due respect, you do realize that you are asking pilots to sign a petition to allow your company to directly compete against the ones we work for. You wil do this with reduced wages which in a short matter of time will be brought up by our respective managment teams. You see, they will say they can not be competitive unless they have "your rates".

You can understand with the assault on our profession over the past 6 years why no one is eager to assist you.....

Yak, you beat me to the punch, nicely worded.
