claiming to make almost that as FOs...

As far as Goat Airways, I love it..Couldnt ask for more
We get it. Ex-Comair with an axe to grind.

BTW, we have FO's making over $300K flying greenslips. Granted they have no life, but they choose this. And they still probably fly less block/month than a pilot flying 95+hrs/month at one of the ME3. And when they get tired of it they go back to flying a normal schedule. Granted, they don't have a free limo ride to the airport, they don't have gorgeous young FA's waiting to ruin their marriage, and they don't live in that 120F paradise over there, and their wives aren't medicated to make due in "the compound." But they'll survive.

So your "friend" at DAL chose not to ever make more than $250K, for whatever reason.

Narrow body FOs...

Not all of them have no life either. Living in base and getting bought off LCA trips, helps big time!

Your friend is full of Shiite. But if he is a one digit guy, then I know he is clueless as to what goes on with the pilot group. Those guys are so far out of the loop that one tried to tell me I was lying when I told him I was furloughed. He claimed there were no furloughed pilots after 9/11.

I wouldn't say my friend is clueless..I think he knows exactly what goes on inside Delta...He's only been at Delta 40 years and served as Chief Pilot of NYC for a number of years many years ago..He is Captain on the A330ATL now and just flies the line..He clearly stated that the most he's made in salary n per diem alone has never exceeded $250,000 a year..Ofcourse there's profit sharing n the B plan on top of that..He's never missed a day of work in his 40 years at DAL..I think many of the pilots at DAL know him very well and he is very well respected..BTW, he is joining Qatar Airways as Executive Vice President of Flight Ops after he retires from Delta. Not a bad position to get since it pays over $500,000 per year plus living accomodations and a car n driver...He's already been hired and he himself told me to stick with Qatar Airways over coming to a U.S legacy

I could care less about Comair, it was a sh!tty company to begin with..As far as flying 95 hours a month at Qatar, I laugh at that..We are not Emirates..I fly about 60-70 hours a month and average 15 days off in base ever since I have been working here..120 degrees? It's not hotter here than it is in Arizona..Most wives here are very happy since they actually have a social life with other spouses in Qatar..Their kids love it as well...Its not for everyone, it's for people who enjoy the international lifestyle, multi cultural folks who are not narrow minded..

What's your opinion of this piece which states unequivocally that your bosses are helping to fund terrorists?

Qatar does not fund terrorists..I don't think there would be a huge U.S military base in Qatar if that was the case..

How the hell is A330 Pilot still posting here after making *at least* a couple threats of physical violence against people who....gasp....have differing ideas??? How's that for open minded, by the way?

Mods???

P.S. How about folks making threats of violence against other posters have their info made public? Ya know if you're going to be an internet tough guy, that should be no big deal..
