I'm sure some people's wives are great with tech. Mine? Her with a smart phone is something akin to a cross between a 8 year old and a 88 year old with a smart phone. No, I don't trust my wife with my schedule, but not for the reason you imply. I'd love to be able to have her run certain tasks while I'm in flight and unable to do so myself, I just can't. She wouldn't trust me with her veg garden or with her horses for the same reason. For what it's worth, she's actually the exact average age of the two numbers mentioned and we were married before the average household had a computer, much less a smartphone. That stuff just never became her thing.

That said, the one's I find strange are the ones that seem to not know what their wives are doing with their schedule at all until it shows up on their schedule.

Brings back a very funny memory, about 18 years ago. I was a TRI/TRE conducting a line check for a European LCC crew. The captain had, of course, his epaulet on his shirt. But wait... there's more. He had a set of epaulets sewn into his raincoat. But wait, there's still more. This gent hat epaulets, I can't remember, either sewn or attached to his HI-VIZ Vest. Not that was a true Captain's Captain.😂😩. Not enough room in the cockpit with such an ego.

No but he was truly a legend in his own mind. He truly was the ace of the base spelled with 2 S's

If I’m working, I now have my Halloween costume idea.
