Throwbacks?
Are we not doing Throwback Thursday any more? Just wondering if I missed an announcement or something. Haven't seen one in a couple of weeks. I completely get it if life is busy, not complaining just curious. Monday and Thursday with Coffee and Pretzels are my main reason for checking in here.

Yes, I quietly took a break putting them out. You hit the nail on the head, it was becoming a fair amount of work on top of the normal cartoon and I just had to hit the pause button.

I have an uncle who just retired from long-haul, owner-operator, trucking. We always had plenty to talk about. I also have spoken with freight train crews, same thing.
Now the crews of ocean cargo, now that's a whole different ball game! Those folks are just gone!

Have a good friend who retired from that early, and took a job as a river pilot on the columbia to be home every night. None of his kids really look related, one of them might look a little like him.
