Not to mention that the transition to one training center is hurting training capacity which I think is the real reason for the pullback in hiring numbers. UAL is trying not to have a pool or very few swimming before training starts.

They are moving 737 sims from Houston to DEN...that kills the training pipeline for a while, then the flood gates re-open.

Yup. I've given up. After being told four times that, "Looks great. Become a line check airman. Otherwise, it's just a matter of time. You're right in the ballpark of what we are looking for," I'm not spending another $1000 on this nonsense.
