Man made global warming is science fiction. The predictions have been proven false time and time again. even if the nonsense were true the solutions are disgusting. Carbon taxes and carbon credits would destroy the industry.

Besides there are more importantly issues than just having a pro union government which doesn't explain is the us . Sorry if I don't want to vote for a party that thinks it's OK to give amnesty to illegals and think borders are obsolete. Or thinks there are more than two genders.

And like 99.9% of scientifically trained people I know climate change is happening and that it has been brought on by human activity since the start of the Industrial Revolution. It's no longer a debate. Only fools don't acknowledge and accept our impact.

No the debate is not over. There is no scientific proof that so called climate change is man made.

Not if you live in a coastal city. We can see it happening.

Sure there is. And plenty of it. National Geographic recently devoted an entire magazine to you and the rest of the "unenlightened warriors" attacking science today. Champions of ignorance.

Tell that to the American Associate for the Advancement of Science, the American Chemical Society, the American Geophysical Union, American Medical Association, American Meteorological Society, American Physical Society, the Geological Society of America and the 200 other global scientific organisations listed here: https://www.opr.ca.gov/s_listoforganizations.php. They would all disagree with your statement.

Even Exxon acknowledges the role their product plays in the change. But all these pilots on APC know better than that! You wrote on this forum that there is overwhelmingly evidence to refute this science fiction nonsense, Canoepilot. Well let's have it. Prove us wrong.

The last time CO2 levels in the atmosphere were this high the ocean was 100 ft above its current height. I guess that canoe is gonna come in handy.

A previous poster recommended a sixth extinction; great book. Ocean acidification is scary stuff. Just look at the coral die off in the Great Barrier Reef this year.

The alarmists have continued to be wrong. Al gore said in the 90s in 2014 Miami would be underwater and the ice sheet gone. Well here we are in 2016 and the oceans have risen an inch and the ice sheet is it's largest ever.

The Antarctic ice sheet is at its highest level since 1979 (not ever), and here is a good explanation as to why that is not a good thing:

https://www.nasa.gov/content/goddard...record-maximum

The Arctic sea ice, and Greenland Ice sheet have both declined.

Mean sea level has increased by 4-8 inches in the past century and the rate of rise over the past 20 years is more than double the rate of the preceding 80 years.
