65 million years ago a bunch of dinosaurs and plants died. Through time, solar radiation, etc, that biomass was reduced to....petroleum. All we have to do is find it and pump it out of the ground and refine it a bit.
Before you post on a global warming thread you might want to make sure you have more than an elementary school understanding of where oil comes from and how it's made. What you’ve just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. |

That's funny since you used your elementary school cared to plagiarize lines from the movie, Billy Madison without attribution.

You're right. In the long run, the planet will be fine. Humans, on the other hand, are totally f@#$ed.

Screwing with the oxygen supply of the planet isn't smart. Needless to say, the real reason why you don't care about any of this is that you're going to be dead when it happens. And your empathy for future people is near zero. The ice caps have grown in the last decade In 2000 al gore said Miami would be under water by 2012 and here we are today and the oceans haven't even risen an inch. 10 years ago the hysteria was "peak oil" now we're all going to drown from so called climate change. I wether what the next alarmist nonsense will be. |
