For those of you who periodically swing through jetcareers forums and may have not seen this, here: Fallen JC member, Benjamin Hill aka BDHill1979 - Jetcareers
Ben Hill was a deticated member to these those forums, a dedicated instructor/pilot, and a wonderful individual. He passed on last week when his single engine aircraft had engine troubles, he crashed just short of the runway and was killed on impact. He leaves behind a wife and two kids. It is an unfortunate reminder of the fragile lives we live, RIP Ben Hill.

It's crazy. I worked with him for a short period last year. Somebody I know actually almost went up on this very flight with him but had to decline at the last minute. Just goes to remind us how small this aviation community can be and how we all need to look out for each other. Damn it's so weird when somebody you know dies like this.
