That's pretty large not to come to an agreement on seniority.

Then again it's not my seniority that will be affected. Good luck.
The pay is the total over the life of the contract. My guess is it's about a 30% raise for NW and about 21% for Delta. I don't know the contract duration.

So that when it is over in exchange for giving up on seniority I get almost up to 75% of the pay I made 5 years ago.......Hummm let me think about that. I don't think so. Try again bean counters!

I agree with the 75%. Have you seen an agreed-to Seniority list? Have you seen Delta's or NW's table position on SLI? My point is, it's difficult to come to conclusions when we don't have the whole agreement in front of us.

Just heard from a friend what the "deal" is/was. 20% pay raise from widget rates over life of contract(35% for redtails),15% contribution to retirement, improvement in sick leave and improvements in several other areas.I don't think there would be many redtail old guys leaving anytime sooner than 5 yrs from now if this were to come to fruition. I have read some innovative ideas in these threads, maybe our MEC's will come up with something that is palatable to both groups and leaves us all equally po'd. I agree with an earlier post that says until we see the proposed SLI we are wasting time speculating about it(that's no fun).Good luck Redtails,it's really us (pilots) against them (mgmt).

From the grapevine....The deal is not dead. Something may be final very very soon. Will be interesting to see how the seniority issues plays out.

I honestly think it could be a good deal for everyone if EGOS dont get in the way. Merging seniority is never fun but there has to be a relatively painless way of mixing it up. I guess we will see soon. Everything i have heard about the actual rumored details has sounded pretty good. (pay, contribution, equity, etc.)

Maybe everybody's gone to a neutral corner only to come out "brawlin" again?

I would like to see DAL grow by it's own... then again... I've got an interview soon so I got some skin in the game!

No offense NWA guys!
