Well, for those that has some questions about Delta's demographics, i say it paints a pretty accurate picture. We aren't all so different, after all, ain't it?

For a specific point, we have more than a handful 50+ guys, Carl. You should check with your "source" to see how he comes up with his number. If you're ever in ATL, i'm sure more than one of us wouldn't mind let you take a look in our expected retirement data in person. I think most of us just want to extend the olive branch, but I sure hope it works both ways

The first graph showing the 2006-2008 hires looks like the Delta widget.

Having a little difficulty interpreting these charts.

I actually work better with brighter, flashing pastel-fluorescent colors along side dancing animated cartoon characters.
Throw in a little techno-polish club music also to spice things up a bit, and then you might have a chart that speaks to me.

Thank you in advance

Thanks, we can all share a beer at the Hacienda when you bid back to LAX. Even though you're gonna bump me down on my equipment, but hey, I think we'll secure a better future for all of us. Sometimes, you just gotta see the big picture, ya know?

BTW, how many nwa guys live on the west coast? when i was working as a red-headed stepchild in my previous life, I knew there's gotta be at least couple hundred. Is it still true? If this merger goes thru, I truly hope they'll expand the PDX,LAX bases, since NWA doesn't really have a west coast base, except the small and super senior PDX base. As a west coaster, my QOL would suffer for a long time as most of the MSP guys would bid back to SLC/LAX in a heartbeat.

The other ~6,000 are "Middlest Seniority Pilots," presumably with no DOH beef.

Eric,

It appears as if the combined pilot group has a population of 12,140 pilots. The graph takes away the middle 6,000 pilots and displays the highest 3,070 pilots and the lowest 3,070 pilots. So we can see that NWA pilots outnumber the Delta pilots by a 2:1 ratio in the highest seniority category and the Delta pilots outnumber the NWA pilots by a ratio of 2:1 in the lowest seniority category.

In some previous posts, there has been saying that most of the NWA MEC is controlled by the junior side, is it correct? How is the neg. committee? What is the demographics? I just can't quite fathom if the junior guys are in charge (which is highly unusual for any MEC), how come they wouldn't like the idea that DL outnumber their junior counterpart by a 2 to 1 ratio? Just some questions...

rvr,

Our negotiating committee is pretty well mid-level seniority folks. Our merger committee only has one senior pilot on it and it is the chairman, who was also the chairman of the former Republic pilot's merger committee.
