Reading financial website...they said, as above poster said, Spirit will buy Frontier...it's just a question of soon or sooner.

It would be more plausible for a larger to company to acquire Spirit and a different larger company to acquire Frontier.

Remember Frontier almost got bought by Southwest. I find it hard to believe similar sized companies would merge. In the animal world, the larger animal eats the smaller animal.

Virgin America and Alaska got merger approval. Any idea of who will merge next?

Southwest will acquire JetBlue or Spirit. Hawaiian has also been rumored.

It would be hard for the big 4 who already merged to buy another large airline such as JetBlue.

I agree. JetBlue, Spirit and Frontier Merger could happen. Alaska and JetBlue, or Alaska, Spirit and Frontier. Could also have an Alaska and Sun Country merger as well.

Think Southwest, AA, Delta and United are done for a while. I could be wrong but think the merger with smaller airlines to become bigger airline is more likely.
