Republic open base in IAH Who's jumping ship?

Republic opens base in IAH starting July 1st. Mass exodus anyone? Who's jumping ship or atleast starting to think about it?

Even as a captain I'd seriously consider this. Do all the recent management changes represent Mesa scrambling to get their sheit together?

Better money, bonuses, and a flow...? Why would anyone think about that, when Mesa treats everyone so well?

Really? To wait another 2.5 years to sit in the right seat? I would switch to Spirit or Frontier before that.

Forgive my ignorance of having zero 121 experience, but I don’t understand how jumping ship would make sense? Even among east coasters, most of RAH bases are widely considered sh!tholes by anyone’s calculus - which would make Houston senior off the bat.

So you leave the base you probably came here for to end up in New York or New Jersey? Am I missing something?
