Any suitor has to clear the hurdle of the Nevada poison pill hostile takeover laws. Of active airlines, only AAL currently meets Nevada’s requirements.

I’ve talked with a couple of pilots (one American and one Envoy) and they are both hearing the same among them...

That’s why I doubt this rumor is just a repressed desire to be somewhere else. I don’t know what will happen and I think that not even Management does, but something is definitely cooking.

I started hearing this from PSA pilots while we were going public. It may have been in AAL’s managements mind then. But, I think they are waiting to see what United does with our CPA’s.

Wrong, they merged and aquired the other two. They didn't buy them.

A merger of envoy and Piedmont will happen before they buy another regional.
