Default Does Mesa help employees become pilots?

Hi, I was just wondering if Mesa has some kind of program designed to help flight attendants get a leave of absence, financing, or scholarships so they can get their ratings and become pilots?

I appreciate any insight into this! If so, is are people using it? Is it helpful? Thanks!

I was sitting in the DFW crew room during one of J.O's conference calls. A flight attendant who was on medical leave of absence was on the phone talking to him, complaining about great difficulty in getting paid disability or what ever she signed up for. J.O's words were, "Well, if you work at Mesa, we need you to be healthy, and actually working, if you want to be paid".
So to answer your question, I don't think he has any interest in helping FA's become pilots.

It’s my understanding that Mesa has a partnership with the Maricopa County Sheriff to single out inmates with good behavior for potential positions. Specifically non-violent offenders.

Their uniform looks great with an ankle bracelet.

(can't make this up, the well known felon is now a recruiter there).

I am way out of the loop by now, but this sounds very interesting.

There is an ex flight attendant turned FO at Mesa that I went to flight school with. They did not lend any assistance to her but I think that her employment helped ease the interview process when she had the required flight experience.
