Commuting in all month staying in hotels is killing me. Anyone else in that boat? Can’t move into base because you don’t know if you will be furloughed. No one does 3 month leases. Crash pads are closed. Got kicked out of my last one when the Covid started without refund.

Time to start applying for jobs. I hear Target is paying $15 an hour in DFW area, maybe I can get on there with the possibility of moving up into management.
$15*160hrs = $2400 (Target Cashier)
$36*76hrs = $2736. (Mesa FO)
If you account for the Union dues, medical, passport renewal fee, uniform cost, and hotel costs for living out of base.... might be making more money at Target.

Don’t you new guys still have bonuses rolling in? I mean you signed up to make $15 less an hr than everyone else. Our pay is closer to small turboprop charter companies than other regionals I was always surprised we still got pilots once Envoy and the others got new contracts . But negotiations are coming up its going to be interesting. I’m not voting yes for anything less than a $15 dollar pay hike which only puts us in the middle of the pack
