not so sure. Early out programs at the majors will significantly reduce, and possibly eliminate the need for furloughs at that level. I know Alaska won’t be furloughing due to getting enough participants. If the majors don’t furlough, once the music starts, things will move much faster without the majors having to call back and retrain thousands of guys.

I wonder how that would work for everyone that was already in training with a signed bonus contract? Be interested in the basis for voiding the bonus agreement.
That said, these guys in the pool have heard more than the furloughed pilots from training. It is radio silence here.

You sound bitter. Were you a flight attendant? Is that why you are trolling a Mesa forum even though you don’t work here? Still didn’t answer the previous question of where you work now? Ashamed to say?

Propellere - The dude’s an Envoy guy now. Apparently he’s really regretting his decision to move there from Mesa, so his therapy apparently includes bashing his old company. I hope it helps him sleep better.

Good to know. It looks like the 737 candidates were not announced. You would think the company would have taken a picture with all of them as the initial 737 crews. Would have been a good PR opportunity as a regional carrier in 737 cargo is a first. It looks like PBS reflects the reduction in the bid for the 737 folks though. Looks like 3 from DFW if my guess is correct. All senior

Isn’t the initial cadre always check airmen? I’m pretty sure that’s exactly how it’s supposed to work. Unless I misheard that somewhere.

The standing bid was for 2 CA/ 6 FO. I saw the numbers change in PBS for this bid period. They took 3 out of Dallas I’m guessing. I could be wrong. Standing bid Notice came out but wasn’t revealed who got it.
