Is this being exaggerated or are they cracking down? And if so, why extra hard?
Can anyone who’s been there speak to this and say if it’s hard but fair? Or hard and “out to get you.”
It’s to the point where a study guide was created, and is sent out with the AQP award email. We got an email from the regional chief saying to show up prepared because there were quite a few people who failed because they didn’t study. I went through AQP last month and it’s pretty much straight forward with new ground school presentations.

FYI, the AQP study guide that was sent out is a direct result of our new AQP fed (hint this is why AQP has changed so much) not because of any pass fail rate. As I understand it the study guide is a requirement from our new fed. If you can get K to talk candidly about it you can get a sense of what he’s been having to do the last year or so to please this new fed. Essentially redo the entire AQP program.

Default Realistic FO Pay

I would totally fly for Mesa, but just can't stomach the $12-$15/hr less than everyone else. Am I missing something that brings their FO pay closer to other regionals?

I’d assume the possibility of OT at 200% - 300%. Someone else can definitely clarify though

It’s almost like it’s an old contract from a bygone era before everyone got their pay raise that has come due to be renegotiated or something…………………………………………….. how weird……………………………………….

Kind of like how Joe Flacco was once the highest paid qb in the nfl? Weird. . .

Lots of flying, short time on reserve, quick upgrades, premium pay flying, and living in base are the reasons why I came.

This. And the company won’t even respond to the union’s request to schedule negotiations already can tell you where things are headed. Watch for JO to make another big purchase hes gotta spend whatever cash Mesa has so he can tell the union the companies broke.
