I made decision solely on how long the training takes. And I’m not saying that training at Mesa is delayed (I couldn’t get any info from within the company) but I did get confirmation that SkyWest is not delayed on ERJ. And with base proximity just made sense to play it safe.

well done. Know the next few years will be a roller coaster of which you will have ZERO control ( apart from sick calls after probation) and you won’t be disappointed

Mesa keeps sending me all this different emails about drug testing and attending ATP CPT course from different people. I emailed recruiter guy on Friday saying I’ve picked different opportunity and I will have to cancel my class date before he books tickets. What do I do? Should I email everyone separately? Am I in trouble for canceling so close? My class date was supposed to be November 9th and ATP CPT October 31st.

New to the forums so sorry if this has been posted somewhere else already. I am looking at both Mesa and Skywest as potential places to apply since they have bases that are short direct flights from where I live. I only have 1200 hours and 6 months left on my current contract where I am right now but by the end of the contract should have the 1500 TT for a regional. Any suggestion on when I should apply? Does it make sense to apply before I have my 1500 TT? Any info is appreciated.
