The sky is falling the sky is falling jump ship.

Just kidding this is all part of the plan that our fearless leader has put together to take care of us. As he stated he is finalising the deal.

Don’t leave now to those reliable carriers you are days away from your United seniority number.

Just remember United is scoped out on RJs and United authorized c5 to get 175s on their certificate about 6 months ago.

Are you guys screwed? The CRJs to United was a nice rabbit out of the hat. I have no remorse for this POS company. Disclaimer - considering the pilot group has the best options in history, I would think everyone that wants to get out will be ok. Don't want anyone on the street. But if everyone just moves to United whatever.

So…. how are the CRJ900s gonna be “converted” to United when the scope clause in the United pilot contract doesn’t allow for it?

JO is trying to keep the pilots calm- but we all know this isn’t looking good.

I remember hearing the same things being said by the management of Compass.

”our plan.. lets screw the AA flying up so UA buys us”. Would be more believable if he said 900’s flying for Amazon…

Good news is DEC captain and huge bonus at most airlines right now.. take your pick and jump ship..

I think you maybe right. The timing of JO’s email came right after the news of American dropping Mesa became public. This could be a tactic used by management to keep the CRJ pilots from jumping ship, especially the captains since they are all in high demand. The only thing working in Mesas favor is management is in good terms with United and United is in negotiation with their pilot group for a new contract which could potentially see them getting relief on the scope clause for the 900s to be added but most don’t see that happening.

Except DL did’nt get scope relief and Alaska actually got scope. Going to be a hard sell to the UA pilots. Doubtful that will happen..

Scope relief at UA won’t happen. If anything UA ALPA wants more flying taken away from the regionals and flown by UA pilots.
