SkyWest is getting some of our Ejets too. They have sent out information on difference training for the Mesa ejets. At one time didn’t we have like 90 crjs and almost as many ejets? And wasn’t there an email somewhere saying we will be flying 60 ejets. Interesting numbers.

I wouldn't be surprised. Skywest is taking over the regional world. Thier stock is up 70% over 6 months, they have almost 5000 pilots, they have hangars and maintance all over the US, making record profits, and united is giving them so much flying and they are now getting new jets. Mesa and Commutair got kicked out of DEN to make room for SkyWest to take over the base... They are on the rise, and quick. I wouldn't be surprised if all regionals folded and skywest would have a monopoly on regional routes.

My thought for years now has been all regionals die except wholly owned (which may or may not be consolidated with major) and skywest. There will always be some market for small airplane flying and with 5000 pilots on staff and a whole mess of small planes skywest os the obvious choice. More and more flying is being brought in house with the 220s and eventually the max 7s but there are lots of places that just won't support anything more then 50 or 70 seats.

On a side note, you can tell how sloppy and poorly planned this is. We don't even have training dates yet.

Mate... DFW wont even exist anymore. Lol. No one got put into ejet dfw because it wasn't even an option. After everyone from dfw moves over, there won't be anymore dfw.

right on mate! That's what I keep telling myself after 3 interviews with SWA, 1 - Spirit and 1 - Allegiant, and everyone else saying to pound sand, all in the past year! "But I'm a mesa pilot and making this much money now" Mate I love you looking at the glass half full...
