Scoop

So a Mesa bust would do well for US Air

That reminded me of my high school news channel.

Why is the price of oil a problem for airlines?

It may not be of the best quality but they have some valid points.

I've heard that Freedom has already parked some ERJs at MCO, does anyone know how many are currently down there?

I think there are about 30, and they have already started the shutdown of the MCO DAL flying.

Taxing out of MCO yesterday, there were 5 Freedom ERJ's parked on the west ramp (in front of Signature). Looks like the exodus has begun!

Well the planes they have been parking has been planned for a while since the flying has been dwindling down for several months. 3 months ago we had 60 lines in MCO and mid 30's in JFK. Now 5 in MCO and 30 in JFK. June should be the end. Its almost comical to see the crew room completely filled with reserves still, and how they have 45 reserve lines in MCO with the 5 lines of flying (all with 8 days off). Gotta love it!

Today's the big day. The judge should rule this afternoon whether to grant an injunction blocking the termination of the DAL contract. Anyone care to make a prediction?

ERJdude 05-29-2008 07:26 AM

he rules that Mesa wins, and delta loses their B777 scope as well, at which Mesa will be able to fly their B777's at CRJ-900 plus 20% rates......

NOT!!
