It's all based on hypotheteticals, but........

What if down the road, JA wants to consolidate it all into SkyWest, what will happen to the original Lynx pilots?

Situation 2, having what so far is a non union carrier in the fold, what's to stop JA from growing that operation and using it as a whipsaw?

More than one unionized carrier has had to chew up valuable negotiation capitol to fight that, hate to see what it would be like with 2 non union shops.

We can play the "what if" game all we want but whipsaw in some shape, form or fashion is inevitable and is already happening.

I would rather talk about Nintendo at this point...

Just pointing out that although it may be good in some fashion for the Lynx guys, it has the potential to get ugly for them as well.

We went through all of these questions when SKW bought ASA. There were vast, complicated merger scenarios. The solution none of us expected was what they did. They pigeonholed as a wholly owned sub, and pumped the money we make into the mother ship. SkyWest Inc barely even acknowledges we exist.
