Did anyone get that email note illustrating UAX's drawdown of 4/8 regionals at dulles(IAD) by sept. Not only that but was it like a 130 50 seat jets to be parked in the next 18 months and that's just at UAX.
Basically they're opting purely for the larger regional jet category and really highlighting the 175 usage. What 50 seat carriers are gonna get parked at IAD? It was interesting...
Meanwhile Mesa moves it's entire ORD op to IAD by sept. Right?

The email also mentioned that not all of the 50 seat flying would be replaced by larger regional jets, meaning they are either cutting routes or sending some of that flying back to mainline. I really hope it's the ladder of the two.

I don't know, probably 80 deep for F.O.'s with 8 out of 30 planes on property by then. That would be my guesstamations. You'd be a somewhat senior E175 F.O. But your global seniority might suck because all those CRJ9/7 guys that joined ahead of you and now get to the 175 or 900 left seat quicker than you. From what I gatherin'

Yes and no. You would be a relatively senior FO in base and equipment but globally you will start at the bottom like everyone else. Upgrade time doesn't change, but your QOL will be higher while you wait.

What's the first year pay on the 175? Is the pay scale on APC accurate? It still has DHC-8 pay on there so I'm curious how dated it is. Can anybody give a general estimate of take home pay that first year with per diem?

Just depends on your line when you're off reserve and whether or not you pick up any extra/incentive flying.

After, I know a couple guys who reduced themselves down to less than 10 days off/month by picking up time and made more.
