Just happened to see this:

Looks like Mesa is targeting pilots who live in Texas.

No surprise, it's good for the company if people live in base.

I thought LAX was going to be gone in a few months, that it was going back to Envoy while we ran other routes better suited to 76 seat aircraft.

That said, how credible is your source? It's hard to say what will happen with PHX, but most guys I've talked to feel confident that our mainline partners will maintain its hub status for the foreseeable future, and that it could even grow. Coupled with SkyWest's PHX contract almost being up (can someone else confirm? I'm not as current on their affairs) we might get additional flying out of Phoenix.

That's all optimistic, I admit, but I'd love to get to the bottom of it.

Anyone junior to 320 global after next summer either Captain or FO, doesn't matter as they will no longer be able to hold PHX Captain unless they are less then 320 global...make sense? There are about 30 current captains in PHX who will be flushed to DFW next summer already below the 320 mark when those planes move. The Ejet makes no difference to any of this. If they don't bid CRJ CA PHX now, it won't matter next summer because unless they have been here for 12 plus years, they still won't hold PHX as Captain. Your post actually makes no sense at all... 90 and smell test??? What?? Talking about FO's holding out?? What are you talking about dude? 90 is staffing for 18 planes. If you are 90 or greater on the roster, 12 plus years, you won't be in PHX as a Captain. It's that simple... lol Last I checked every FO in PHX who has been at Mesa for 12 plus years have either been awarded it, or failed upgrade to many times and are lifer FO's. They are not holding out for the EJet becasue they would already have been awarded it. Not sure what you are smelling. Maybe yourself??? lol
Nope. 'Tis you, especially given the four EJet ugrades showing on the current roster between global 519-547....dude.
Slow down, read/respond with care and consider not drinking so much of your own bathwater.

Dismissed.

Confirmed today, training department is working on a street CA program. If you have your 1000 121 SIC, expect to be in upgrade by spring. Keep in mind (and I've learned this lesson several times) that nothing is certain and can change on a moment's notice.

I do not get this. Without new growth, I don't see how street captains are a remote possibility.

You know what would be even more awful than being bought out by GoJet? Being bought out by Republic.....

The thought of having to go back to the RAH culture gives me chest pains

God Bless
