We don't need more 200 flying. What we need is more CRJ flying for UA, if GoJet can get some, we should be able to also...the EJet is nice, but those of us who are die hard CRJ drivers need more too...
First, the supposed GoJet flying is for Delta. Second, do you honestly think new planes are handed out like candy? "They can get some, so why can't we?" Everything has to fit within their route network, fleet planning and scope clauses. Third, it should be pretty obvious at this point that United doesn't like the CR7, they aren't adding anymore; in fact their fleet plan shows a few airframes leaving the fleet this year.

If UA doesn't like the CR7s then why are they dropping 500K (random number JO said) a plane to put wifi on them?

A 200/145/700/175 is all flying. If you have to go fly a -200 or a 175, I promise you'll be okay.

As somone who has flown over 200 hours on each the CRJ 200, 700, 900, ERJ 170, and 175, your sir are sorely mistaken.

Comparing flying a 200 to a 175 is like driving a '79 moped you found on the streets of Guadalaja vs a 2015 BMW X5.

These are facts.

And all at 22 bucks an hour.

Embarrassing.

There's really no appreciable difference in any of those planes.
