I was just saying to be competitive when I was looking for airline employment required around 2500 hrs. That mean't flight instructing until you got your 1200. Then you could apply for a 135 job. Now I like the 1500 hour rule. But flight instructing to get that time really doesn't prepare you for a airline. I think they should change the 135 requirements. Maybe 500 for boxes. Night cargo really dials the skills up to handle 121.
