I received an unsolicited email from Republic several weeks ago. It was not an offer, but an invitation to apply. I wondered how they had my email, then I remembered I applied to Frontier months ago. Had to have dug it from that file. This seems a little more normal than these offers.

Yup, went to the email address I have designated for airlineapps traffic.
I've gotten unsolicited offers to interview from a couple of airlines on airline apps, but never one with a class date associated with it, which seems to be the only change.
It DOES say that the 'offer' is contingent upon successful drug testing, skills testing, and PRIA/background clearance, while mentioning adjustment to any class date given after all of that has checked okay.

Methinks the whole wording of this was designed for max response but, at the end of the day, this is an invite to interview little different than any other.

I can tell you that they're in Orlando doing the interviews at the FAPA.aero job fair which is happening Saturday, so I'm sure today or tomorrow (Friday) they're traveling. I sent an e-mail to one of the recruiters on his personal mesa-air.com mail address. I'll keep you guys posted.

After further review, it seems highly highly unlikely that they are filling classes for June. We have spring classes to fill first!

Sounds like someone may have hit a couple wrong buttons on the admin side of airline apps.

Maybe some are getting direct offers based on their backgrounds? I don't find that so hard to believe.

Yup, me too. Do note that it is contingent on what is essentially an interview.
This represents the first contact I've had from Mesa:

"These are very exciting times at Mesa. As you may know, as a result of our outstanding operating performance as well as our competitive cost structure, we have been awarded new contracts which will nearly double the size of our company over the next several years."................

I read to to mean low pay...............

Raised an eyebrow here as well.

Hearing some things about Mesa crews being left to fend for themselves, by force of company policy, during constant duty overnight situations ?
Is this true ?
If so, is it even legal under 117 (10 hour rest period, 8 of which required to be sleep prior to 121 ops) ?

That's not true at all. You get a hotel on CDOs. Any scheduled sit more than 4 (5?) hours the company must get you a hotel.

What number regional would this be? Is Mesa your number 1 believed best contract in the industry, since Silver was number 2?

I bet this is FozJared sending out invites to all his new buddies on here.
