Default Hotel during Mesa training?

Do Mesa pay for your hotel during training? Is it single or double occupancy?

Yes. Single occupancy. They drive you to and from the training center.

Yup. Apparently they are now giving new hires single-occupancy rooms before they pass their Oral. It's at the beautiful Sleep Inn at the Phoenix Airport, although I've heard rumors they might have moved closer to ASU.

Study hard, have fun and enjoy it. Best training department in the regionals.

It's still the Sleep Inn near Sky Harbor. And yes, single occupancy rooms.

lol I always love it when guys talk about their training hotels. Eagle's was at the luxurious Admiral Inn... what a dump. I'm still convinced that someone at AMR knew the owner of that hotel and that's the only reason they had the contract. They've moved on since then.

Skywest uses the Candlehood. A guy in my class had the lock on his door break and couldn't get into his room. The manager showed up with a machete to chop the lock off. It was a full on amazon jungle machete. I have no idea why they even had one in the hotel.

It worked and they got into the room..

+1.

And pay it forward if you use the gas for the grill. That's not necessarily Mesa mgmt who provides it...

I liked the Sleep Inn. It really wasn't bad. The breakfast gets old, but it's a fine budget hotel. Ok restaurants in hotels across the street and use of the Hilton gym.
