Non-rev is basically worthless. I'd get my $ back on the US and UA annual fees if I could. American just taught airways how to overbook the crap out of everything UA style. Get the $ in the bank, reroute bumpee's 3 legs/2-days through Omaha to get them to destination. Jumpseating is a different story but non-rev ain't worth it. It's a phoney 'benefit' you'll be lucky to get your money out of with the fees.

Thus my earlier point (in another thread) about why it may make sense for the regionals to start hiring captains directly off the street. Both for the sake of the airline and the pilots.
